This guide separates descriptive tests of recorded draws from theoretical probability and historical ranking. Each answers a different question, and none should be read as a forecast of future winning numbers.
Historical simulation
The Historical Simulator compares current-range five-number tickets with selected recorded Cash Pot draws. Its available windows are Last 50, Last 100, Last 500 and All history.
It reports the distribution of 0-, 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-number matches, the best historical matches, comparisons for each ticket, the number of 3+ and 4+ matches, and exact five-number matches.
The simulator does not calculate winnings, return on investment, future probability or predictive validity. It shows how the entered tickets matched the selected past records.
Draw similarity
The Draw Similarity Finder measures the overlap between one selected current-range line and each valid recorded draw. Results range from 0/5 through 5/5 and include the recorded draws with the highest overlap.
A similar past draw is evidence of historical overlap only. It is not evidence that the same line has a higher probability in a future draw.
Repeat and carryover
The Repeat & Carryover Explorer compares adjacent valid draws and counts the numbers present in both. It provides descriptive repeat counts, per-number rates and streak information.
For the full definitions and interpretation of those measurements, see Cash Pot Frequency, Gaps and Historical Relationships.
One-line probability
For the current five-from-20 model, the probability of exactly k matches for one line is:
The first term counts which of the five selected numbers match. The second counts the required non-matching numbers from the other 15 current numbers. The denominator counts every possible five-number outcome from 20 numbers.
These are theoretical odds for a line under the current model. Historical frequency or a historical score does not alter those odds.
Multiple-line probability limitation
For more than one line, the Win Probability Calculator uses 1 − (1 − p)n to estimate the chance of at least one occurrence. This treats line outcomes as independent.
That assumption is not a complete exact joint-probability model for arbitrary overlapping Cash Pot tickets. The displayed multiple-line result should therefore be understood as the calculator’s independence-based estimate, not as a universal exact solution for every set of overlapping lines.
Random Number Pickers
The Random Number Picker creates random current-range lines using numbers 1–20. It does not apply historical frequency, gap or ranking weights to those lines.
Random Number Pickers are random selections for the current model. They do not receive a historical advantage from being generated by the tool.
Statistical ranking
The Historical Pattern Explorer is a historical ranking model. The Historical Pattern Explorer does not claim that future winning numbers can be predicted.
At the number level, the model uses frequency, current gap relative to average gap, pair co-occurrence, triplet membership and consecutive-pattern contribution. Its default weights are Frequency 30, Gap 25, Pair 20, Triplet 15 and Consecutive 10. Each signal can be adjusted from 0 to 50.
The model first creates an eight-number candidate pool. It then ranks five-number combinations using historical frequency, pair synergy, triplet synergy, quad synergy, gap weighting and a cold-cluster penalty.
What historical analysis can and cannot show
Historical tools can describe recorded frequencies, gaps, co-occurrences, similarities, repeats, past ticket matches and model scores.
Those measurements do not by themselves establish a change in future winning probability, a profitable strategy, an expected return or predictive validity. They describe the records and the selected model; they do not turn past patterns into a forecast.
