Pick 4 Research Guide

Pick 4 Exact Results and Repeated-Digit Structures

Separating exact ordered outcomes from descriptive digit families

Pick 4 tools use two related but different ideas: an exact result is one particular ordered four-character string, while a repeated-digit structure groups results by how often values repeat.

Exact ordered results

An exact result is the complete ordered four-character string. 1234, 4321, 1243 and 0000 remain four separate exact outcomes. Leading zeroes stay part of the result.

Exact Combination Explorer

Exact Combination Explorer reports the historical appearance count, most recent date, most recent draw, most recent period and up to 12 matching historical rows for one selected ordered result.

It does not currently expose an exact-result current gap. That is different from the positional current gaps shown by the Analyzer.

Permutations are not merged

The current project does not implement a true permutation-family or box-style analysis. 1234 and 4321 remain separate exact outcomes, even though they contain the same four digits in a different order.

Repeated-digit structures

The Repeated-Digit Explorer groups results by digit multiplicity:

Structure is not an exact result

A structural family groups results by multiplicity; it does not make every result in that family the same outcome. For example, 1123 and 1213 can share the one-pair structure while remaining different ordered results.

Repeated-Digit Explorer

The tool reports the matching draw count, historical rate and matching historical rows for a selected structure. It does not calculate structure-specific current gaps or structure-specific streaks.

Combination Builder

Combination Builder takes a digit pool for each position and creates the positional Cartesian product:

Every generated result remains ordered. This is positional construction, not an unordered wheel or box system.

Historical Result Search

Historical Result Search accepts exact four-digit entries and looks for those exact ordered strings through all valid history. Leading zeroes are preserved, and permutations are not merged.

Historical research only. Exact results and structural families describe recorded data; they do not predict future outcomes.
