This guide explains how TTLottoStats measures the Cash Ball independently from the six unique main numbers.
The Cash Ball model
The Cash Ball is one separate value from 1 through 3. It is stored separately from the six main values and remains separate in the Analyzer and tools.
Separate statistics
The Cash Ball has its own frequency counts, current gaps, classifications and display. Cash Ball values are not added to main-number frequency counts.
Its current gap uses the same newest-first record ordering as the main-number calculations: newest appearance is gap 0, and an absent value has a gap equal to the number of valid draws.
Cash Ball classifications
The Analyzer applies the same mean and population-standard-deviation classification method within the separate three-value Cash Ball universe:
- Hot: at least mean + 1.5 standard deviations.
- Warm: at least mean + 0.75 standard deviations.
- Cold: at most max(0, mean − 1.5 standard deviations).
- Cool: everything else.
These are descriptive historical categories, not forecasts.
When Cash Ball equals a main number
A Cash Ball may numerically equal one of the six main numbers. The current snapshot contains this situation in 103 of 465 draws. It is permitted by the current data model, and the implementation assigns no special relationship or predictive meaning to it.
Combination Checker
Combination Checker treats the six main values as an unordered main combination. Cash Ball is an optional separate filter. Without the filter, matching draws only need the same six main values. With the filter, those matching draws are restricted to the selected Cash Ball.
Historical Ticket Simulator
Historical Ticket Simulator accepts an optional Cash Ball on each ticket. Main-number matches and Cash Ball matches are reported separately. A Cash Ball match is not folded into the main-number intersection count.
Cash Ball probability
The Cash Ball theoretical space contains three possible values. Under the fair theoretical model, one specified Cash Ball has probability 1 / 3. That is separate from the 1 / 376,740 probability of one specified six-number main combination.
What is not implemented
The current public WFL implementation does not include Cash Ball transition analysis, a Cash Ball/main-number association engine, Cash Ball pair or triplet analysis, special equality handling or Cash Ball predictive ranking.
